Term Definition
1 Year Adj. +/- (Adjusted Plus-Minus) Plus-Minus results adjusted to account for both the teammates and the opponents on the floor with a player over the course of the season. This value is based on one year of data. During the playoffs, the analysis includes the regular season as well and weights possessions in the playoffs at 2x the weight of the regular season. Additional information on how these adjusted +/- ratings are calculated has been published on 82games.com here and here.
2 Year Adj. +/- (Adjusted Plus-Minus) Plus-Minus results adjusted to account for both the teammates and the opponents on the floor with a player over the course of the season. This value is based on two years of data including the playoffs. Playoffs are weighted at 2x the weight of the regular seasons with each regular season rated equally.
Elapsed Secs Length of time, in seconds, in the game segment
End Score Unit Score of the unit of interest at the end of the game segment
End Score Opponent Score of the opposition unit at the end of the game segment
End Time Time remaining in game when the game segment ended. Negative time indicates overtime.
GameID Game ID of the game in the Basketball Value database. ID is of form YYYYMMDDAAAHHH where YYYY is the year of the game, MM is the month of the game, DD is the day of the game, HHH is the abbreviation of the home team, and AAA is the abbreviation of the away team.
H/A Indicates if segment of game between unit of interest and opposition unit was contested with unit of interest as the home team (HvsA) or away team (AvsH)

(Minutes)
Number of minutes played by the player, unit, or team.

Per 200
Difference between (Weighted) On Court +/- per 200 Possessions and (Weighted) Off Court +/- per 200 Possessions. Weighting is based on minutes played, not possessions, so as not to overweight play for higher tempo (possessions per game) teams. This is the expected margin of victory in an approximately average length NBA game.

Number of segments of a game or games that the unit of interest faced the opposition unit.
Off Court Statistics when a player is off the court.

Per 200
(Weighted) Off Court +/- per 200 Possessions. Weighted +/- in an approximately average length NBA game when player of interest is off the court for their team or teams. Weighting is based on minutes played, not possessions, so as not to overweight play for higher tempo(possessions per game) teams.

Number of possessions (offensive and defensive) played by the player, unit, or team.
One possession is a continuous segment of a game where one team maintains possession of the ball. This can include multiple shots if a missed shot is followed by an offensive rebound.
Simple Simple, cumulative statistics. Contrasts with weighted statistics.
Start Score Unit Score of the unit of interest at the beginning of the game segment
Start Score Opponent Score of the opposition unit at the beginning of the game segment
Start Time Time remaining in game when the game segment started. Negative time indicates overtime.

200 Poss
